Christian Blind Mission Germany Thanks to the Christian Blind Mission Germany for being the patron of this project again. Like in 2005 with the BlindCycle Tour this project uses their great network of supported projects (in South Amercia in this case.
The CBM never supported only blind people but always deaf and other handicapped people in needs!
Hase Bikes Thanks to Hase Bikes from German Ruhr Valley who build the sexy Pino tandem bike – half recumbent half upright position both pilot and stoker can see. As far as signing between the two is concerned: also this way of communication should work finer compared to an ordinary tandem bike – since the person in the back can more easily put one arm over the front person´s shoulder. New in 2009: The Pino got fold-able!
Firma VauDe Thanks to Lake Constance, to the German brand Vaude for sponsoring all the bike and outdoor stuff again: the legendary bicycle panniers (water proof + having a second little rainproof bag attached outside. As well as tents, sleeping bags, textiles, etc. for six persons.
Sparkasse Bensheim Thanks to the bank Sparkasse Bensheim for funding parts of the project!
Pro Trip Versicherungen Thanks also to the insurance Pro Trip that is providing us with its complete security packages, also for the yet unkown people that will participate later on.
Firma Magura Old but gold: Magura – next my oldest German sponsor is giving money to finance the project and their fantastic hydraulic brake support: legendary HS 33 rim brake (working since 2001) and Louise disc brakes. Also this time they will have to slow down up to 220 KGs…and we`re talking of the Andes in Bolivia and Peru…
Globetrotter Ausrüstung New as supplier and not my second domain: Globetrotter Equipment. they’re running Europeans biggest stores for all outdoor gear from GPS to ear-plugs: Hamburg, Berlin, Colon, Frankfort and Dresden.
NSB Frachtschiff-Touristik Again helping out: NSB Freightship Tourism is making it possible for me to get with the container ship “Maruba Maxima” directly from Germany to Brasil.
Institut für Deutsche Gebärdensprache und Kommunikation Gehörloser The German Institute for Signlanguage and Communication of Deaf People (DGKG) was also supplying money to the projects! Thanks a lot!
Gemeinde Durach Thanks to the community administration of Durach for the given amount of money!
Bundesverband der Studierenden der Gehörlosen- und Schwerhörigenpädagogik The same for the Deaf Pedagogy Students Federation : thanks for the spent money.
Firma Schwalbe Supporting from the first (Beijing by bike) tour onwards: Schwalbe, the legendary German Tire-Maker. Also me, I am trusting in their Marathon XR tire.
